Art and Copyright Law
Our firm provides its clients with any support they need to ensure that the individuality of the works is preserved in accordance with the main intention of the Intellectual and Artistic Works Code (“FSEK”) and that the author or the right holder both commercially benefits from the tangible and intangible rights arising out of their works.

Our scope of services include representation and consultancy services with respect to filing cases for prohibition of infringement, cessation of infringement and damages claims and following up on penal cases, cases for announcement of the author of the work, cases objecting to rescission in cases of infringement of the rights of authors, who create the intellectual and artistic works, or performance artists, who perform or interpret such works, phonogram creators and movie producers and radio-TV organizations present in the work.

Our firm also offers legal consultancy services, if intellectual and artistic works become subject to miscellaneous legal transactions such as a contract for transfer of financial rights, licensing agreement, publication contract, filmmaking contract, performance, broadcasting or musical performance contract, computer software agreement, advertising agency agreement, contract ordering a specific work, and artist management contract under contracts relating to musical works, scientific and literary works, painting, sculpture and photographic works, graphic works, architectural works, cinema works, TV formats, sports programs, computer software and databases, algorithms, source codes, mobile applications and related rights that fall within the scope of field of application of law.

Our team represents the clients before national and international professional associations and within this context, stays in contact to allow preparation of agreements and contracts for transfers and authorizations to be prepared in relation with financial and intangible rights and copyrights to the musical score.
