In the early years of her career, İrem Toprakkaya worked on Competition Law, Intellectual and Industrial Property Law, Data Protection Law, Labor Law, Family Law as a senior specialist lawyer and trademark attorney and also offered regulatory compliance and consulting services for leading cargo, tourism, automotive, marine, it companies and industry associations in Turkey as the lawyer in charge.

İrem Toprakkaya, who was nominated as a candidate in the 2009 local elections and joined the Kadıköy Municipal Assembly, served as the Head of the Law Commission, the Member of the European Union Foreign Relations Commission and the Member of the Youth and Sports Commission in the Kadıköy Municipal Assembly between 2009-2014.

At the same time, she is the Editor-in-Chief of Kadıköy Life Magazine, Tourmag Tourism Magazine, Istanbul Art Magazine.

İrem Toprakkaya is a mediator registered with the Department of Mediation, in addition to her attorneyship and trademark attorney activities. She has completed her specialization training in Intellectual Property Law and Labor Law and provides services in these areas.

İrem Toprakkaya, who has been working as a consultant lawyer in our office since 2018, has been working now as one of the "Of Counsel" consultants of our office since February 2022.

In our office, İrem Toprakkaya provides consultancy to various domestic and foreign companies, sectoral associations on Competition Law, Intellectual Property Law, IT Law, Labor Law, Data Protection Law and Sustainability Principles Compliance and advocacy, trademark attorneyship and consultancy in the resolution of disputes arising from them. In addition, İrem Toprakkaya provides advocacy and consultancy services in the field of Copyright Law to authors and producer companies.

İrem Toprakkaya also leads competition and data protection compliance programs and regularly provides training in the fields of compliance with competition law, compliance with personal data protection law, compliance with advertising legislation, and compliance with sustainability principles at corporate companies.

In addition to her activities as lawyer and trademark attorney, İrem Toprakkaya works as the Deputy Secretary General of the Intellectual and Industrial Rights Commission of the Istanbul Bar Association.
