Partner
Ceren Gülal KarakuÅŸ graduated from Galatasaray University Faculty of Law in 2007. In 2008, she took her LL.M. degree in French, European and International Business Law from Comparative Law Institute of University of Panthéon-Assas, Paris.
She worked as assistant inspector for a while in one of the most prestigious banks of Turkey. She followed her Commercial & Corporate Law practise in leading law firms and provided consultancy and attorney services especially on incorporations, capital market, credit and financing projects, mergers & acquisitions, compliance in publicly held companies and corporate governance. While she was working as legal counsel for a software company, she joined DP Law & Consultancy in 2017 as partner. In 2019 she moved to Strasbourg for joining the European Court of Human Rights as a lawyer. At the of her duty in 2023 she returned to Türkiye and joined our office as a partner.
In our office, she is mainly responsible for services in the fields of commercial, corporate and capital markets law such as incorporation and dissolution of companies, project finance, private equity and investment contracts, start-ups, mergers & acquisitions, compliance policies in publicly held companies and commercial contracts. She also advises and represent clients before the European Court of Human Rights relating to property and freedom of expression violations.
Ceren Gülal KarakuÅŸ is also a chartered trademark attorney before the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office and actively assists our clients on registration and protection of industrial property rights.
